Bats Underglaze Transfer Sheet

Bring intricate, hand-drawn detail to your pottery with our high-quality underglaze rice paper transfers. Designed for versatility, these extra-large sheets are perfect for everything from large platters to wrapping multiple mugs with a single strip.

• Extra Large Design Area: Each sheet features a 48cm x 33cm usable area.

• Versatile Application: Safe for use on greenware (wet or leather-hard) and bisqueware.

• Firing Range: Stable from Cone 04 all the way to Cone 10. Must be fired at cone 6 to be sealed. Works beautifully in electric, gas, and wood kilns.

• Food Safe & Lead-Free: Once fired, these designs are completely food safe (we recommend a zinc-free clear glaze for the best color clarity).

Technical Specs:

• Sheet Size: 19" L x 13" W

• Color: Colors may vary in person due to differences in screen settings, lighting during photography, and manufacturing variations.

• Skill Level: 3/5

• Firing Tip: For the most vibrant results at Cone 6, we recommend using Amaco Zinc-Free Clear.

Because this design is thicker and very solid, it can sometimes take a bit of practice to achieve an even transfer. Compared to our finer-lined designs or patterns with thinner details, these are generally a bit more advanced. For best results—especially with this design and the sheep—we recommend applying while the clay is still moist and using a combination of damp sponges and ribs to help with a smooth application.
